Wipes & Preservation
Wipes, announced up front.
Wipes are announced in advance
Every wipe is scheduled and announced ahead of time in the #wipe-schedule and #announcements channels on Discord, so you'll always know before a fresh start. Halani is a monthly-wipe server. Wipe day is Rust's monthly forced wipe — the first Thursday of each month — and the fresh map starts at 2 PM Eastern (usually 2:05 to let the oxide & game updates settle). Exact dates are pinned in #wipe-schedule and #announcements.
Preservation, made transparent
Before each wipe we publish that wipe's preservation profile — exactly what carries over and what doesn't — with mandatory backup and rollback in place. On Halani, virtual backpack contents carry over and plugin progression is kept (SkillTree XP, economics / RP, playtime, kits, quests, clans, admin lists). Blueprints are cleared each wipe along with the world and standard player state.

Getting Started
Join in five minutes.
- Launch Rust. Make sure you're on the Steam branch that matches the server.
- Connect. Use the Connect button (opens the game) or copy the IP:

- Build & level. Claim a spot, start your base, and begin earning XP through your SkillTree.

The Code
Law of the land.
By connecting to Halani, you agree to these rules. We rarely warn — we act. The goal is a community where everyone genuinely wants to be here.
⚡ Zero Tolerance — VAC & Game Bans
One VAC or Game Ban allowed — must be 365+ days old. Multiple bans of any combination means permanent removal. No exceptions. Don't ask.
🔥 Instant Ban — Racism & Bigotry
Absolutely zero tolerance. Don't type it, say it, or write it anywhere on the server. Admins watch constantly. First offense is almost always permanent.
⚠️ Warning / Ban — Respect Everyone
Personal attacks on players or staff won't be tolerated. If your friend got banned and you argue it, expect the same. Be a decent human being.
ℹ️ Report to Admins — No Griefing or Exploits
No griefing bases, blocking monuments, or exploiting bugs. Report issues in Discord. Intentional abuse results in removal and a base wipe.
